Jepoardy - Hard to Ignore![]() Jeopardy PA Hill Brody Jeopardy should attract on his super production figures alone. But add to these his shed traits, type and longevity and lovers of the red and white breed will have a hard time looking away from the package deal this bull has to offer. Sired by top Ayrshire bull Carmelglen Brody, Jeopardy has inherited his sire’s extreme production with superb shed traits. However he advances significantly on Brody with type traits that reflect the extreme capacity and outstanding udders consistent with the maternal cow family behind Jeopardy. A dual index sire Jeopardy is currently CRV AmBreed’s top ranking NZMI Ayrshire sire with NZMI 174 and BW 123/74%, based on 44 daughters milking in 19 herds. With protein BV 16kg, fat BV 8kg, and a staggering milk BV 400 litres, he packs a production punch well above breed average. His shed traits are all equally as impressive indicating the Jeopardys are a dream to milk. Fertility, somatic cell, and calving difficulty scores are average, but longevity BV 341 days, and residual survival BV 400, indicate exceptional persistency and herd life. Jeopardy’s TOP proof from 36 daughters reveal slightly smaller framed cattle that possess exceptional capacity (BV 0.56), average rumps, correct legs, superb udders, and excellent dairy conformation. Daughter udders have strong ligament (BV 0.27) and attachments, particularly fore udder (BV 0.34), and good teat placement. Jeopardy’s udder overall BV 0.41 ranks him amongst the breed’s elite. STRONG COW FAMILY Jeopardy emerges from the PA Hill stud of Ayrshire breeder Gavin Travers, Northland. His dam PA Hill Fiant Jewel VHC (by Sanrosa Defiant) is a standout cow currently completing her 6th lactation in the PA Hill herd. She represents a cow family exhibiting superior type and consistent production over many lactations - Jeopardy’s grand and great grand dams both classifying EX and producing over 10 lactations apiece.
