Here are the results from this year's National Fieldays Colouring Competition.
Well done to everyone who entered - we received a record amount of entries this year and boy was it hard to determine our winners!
Group One (0-5) winner:

Shayden Peele is 4 years old and lives in Te Aroha.
We were most impressed with his ability to keep within the lines!
A couple of honorable mentions for this Group:

Kade Semenoff's interpretation makes us thinks she'll be the next big expressionist artist!
Kade's 1 and lives in Kohukohu.

This entry is from Jayden Fraser-Jones who is 4 years old and lives in Morrinsville.
We like this entry because it's a combined effort with Mum lending a helping hand!
Group Two (5-8) winner:

This entry came from Kevin Stark who is 8 years old and lives in Morrinsville.
What we like about this entry was the attention to detail Kevin showed by actually stringing wire onto the picture! You'll be able to see this on the sun rays and fencing.
Honorable mention:

Elysha Sabin (7 years old) from Putaruru created this wonderfully colourful entry! It reminds us of lollies...YUM!
Group Three (8-12) winner:

This entry comes from Kate Batchelor who is 11 and lives in Opunake. We liked Kate's attention to detail (note the sun rays gradually changing colour!)
Honorable Mention:

This entry came from Melanie Phipps who is 11 and lives in Rotorua.
Group Four (12-16) winner:

Our Group Four winning entry came from Caleb Watson who is 12 and lives in Putaruru
We especially like the perfectly aligned pen lines. Well done!
Special mention:

Jacinta Harrop from New Plymouth sent us this excellent entry.
Jacinta is 12 and if you look closely, you'll see she's even signed her artwork!

This entry came from Olivia Andrews who is 13 and lives in Cambridge. We liked how Olivia mixed her medias and appears to have used felt pen as well as water colours for a nice effect!
Group Five (16+) winner:

This very funny entry was recieved from Kirsty Duynhoven who is 17 and lives in Inglewood. We love the additions Kirsty made...can you spot all of them?
Special mention:

And finally this entry came from Sarah Cooper who is 16 and lives in Stratford.
Again, a big well done and thank you to everyone who entered! Look forward to seeing your entries next year!
