The CRV AmBreed philosophy is to meet the customers’ needs on mating requirements.

 

We have been providing a technician service to clients for over 30 years.

 

 

We have approved technicians in all main dairying areas of New Zealand. You may be surprised which of your neighbours are using our semen and/or AI Technician because we inseminate close to ½ million doses of semen each year.

 

Access to experienced technicians is a continual challenge so we have ongoing training schools for both DIY and independent technicians. All of our approved technicians are regularly monitored by experienced supervisors so farmers can be assured of a successful mating programme.

You could be earning up to $50 an hour as an AB Technician. Actual remuneration based on a per cow fee. You could inseminate anything from 500 to 10,000 cows depending on your capability and desire.

No. Courses are conducted in districts throughout New Zealand. This avoids accommodation costs and disturbances to your normal farming routine.

 

No. A comprehensive A.I. Manual is provided that covers all aspects of the course with provision for notes to be taken if required.

Practical instruction in the insemination of cattle, with up to 100 plus live cow
practices during the course.
Each time you attempt a practise insemination it is checked by an experienced
instructor for accuracy.

You will know by the end of the course how to inseminate correctly.
You will be instructed and have practise in handling frozen and fresh semen
and the equipment required for inseminating your herd.

As well, an extensive video programme dealing with all aspects of reproduction
is shown during the course.
