For the first time, CRV AmBreed can offer farmers a choice of either Angus or Polled Hereford Fertabull. We are excited to be working closely with both the Angus and Hereford associations to bring you the best possible bulls for dairy beef projects.
Fertabull, is priced at just $8.00 per straw and optimizes fertilization by combining multiple Angus and Polled Hereford sires with different capacitation rates into respective single straw.
This is a cost effective way for farmers to tighten up calving patterns - with the added income of dairy beef calves to sell. Proven in the USA and in New Zealand for the past nine seasons, this product is popular with farmers as an excellent way of improving conception rates and tightening calving patterns in the short and long term.
Fertabull sires for both the Angus and Hereford product have been carefully selected for calving ease, shorter gestation, and growth rates and will fit in with mating programs requiring solutions for things such as:
•    Cows in herds with low conception rates as a result of heat stress, production pressure or other factors
•    Cows from which replacements are not wanted
•    Synchrony programs
•    Supplying premium demand from beef growers because of the higher growth rates
