Our popular competition returned this year with an enviromental theme as part of Fieldays' Premier Feature: 'My Land, Our Environment'.

We asked children nationwide to colour the picture and tell us why the environment is important to farmers...

We loved the 3D effect of this entry. Carter had cut out the cows and fence posts, then pasted them back on using folded paper as a spring effect.

Winner (ages 7-12): Nicola Butterworth from Walton

The gold shimmering effect of the sun & grass combined with a great answer to our question pushed this entry by Nicole into the winners circle.

Winner (6years & under): Heidi Muller (aged 5) from Otorohanga

We just love the fluffy clouds, the jewelled eyes. Plus a great job colouring in, keeping well within the lines! Excellent job Heidi!
