CRV AmBreed bulls come to Fieldays
A virtual bull parade, run in a purpose-built demonstration theatre at CRV AmBreed site G29, F30, will bring some of New Zealand’s top dairy bulls to Fieldays for the very first time.
Video footage of a selection of CRV AmBreed sires, along with images of daughters already putting plenty of milk in the vat for farmers, will provide visitors with the opportunity to see the sires that are working on New Zealand farms. The company’s sire analysts will supply commentary for the parade and are looking forward to discussing the direction of dairy breeding in New Zealand with farmers. Yearling heifers from popular sires will also feature onsite. Complementing the virtual bull parades is a range of interactive seminars that will help dairy farmers get more cows in calf and make improvements to farm performance and profitability while giving urban dwellers some interesting insights into artificial breeding as a founding component of New Zealand’s multimillion-dollar dairy industry. Times and topics are available at www.crv4all.co.nz and both bull parades and seminars run several times daily from Wednesday to Friday of Fieldays.Throughout the event, children will find plenty to interest them at the CRV AmBreed site. In line with the Fieldays Premier Feature, ‘My Land, Our Environment’, children’s activities have an environmental focus. Kids of all ages can also have a free photo taken with virtual-Pierre, an impressive Holstein-Friesian sire with over 30,000 daughters in the National Herd. For adults, CRV AmBreed’s tent has gained a reputation for great hospitality. Fully undercover and with plenty of seating, it offers Fieldays visitors the chance to take a load off while thinking about their breeding goals in a friendly, pressure-free environment. Make sure you stop in; entrances are from either F Street or G Street, near the Innovations Centre. |
