myHERD Outage April 29 2024

    myHERD Outage

myHERD outage planned for 29th April

This outage is necessary as we transition to a new software platform that will help us enhance our services and improve your experience with myHERD.

    Outage details:

    • Date: 5pm, 29th April
    • End Time: no later than 5pm, 1st May

There will be no change to the current version of myHERD, everything will look and operate in the same way once myHERD is back online.

    Impact

During the migration to the new software platform, myHERD will be temporarily unavailable. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience.

    Action required

    • Ensure that data collected on your mobile app is synchronised and accurately reflected in your online version before the transition period.
    • There is a new Mobile App release now available. Update your app to version number 28.0.3 on your app store before the transition period to prevent any loss of data. All the data from your mobile must be synced before updating to the new version.
    • To comply with NAIT requirements, you need to record animal movements within 48 hours. If you have an animal movement that needs to be recorded within the transition period, please add the movement directly into the NAIT website.
    • If you are herd testing during the outage your herd test results won’t be uploaded to myHERD until after we have transitioned to the new platform. In the meantime, we can provide you with a lab strip and your herd test results will be uploaded as soon as the system is live.
