Dairybeef
Supply of low cost Beef semen for dairy herd use is available on the basis of breed choice, but no choice of individual sires are offered at this price.
AmBreed is pleased to work alongside the New Zealand Hereford Association and the New Zealand Angus Association to select quality sires for the Dairy Beef Programme.
Emphasis is given where possible to Calving Ease, Gestation Length, Birth Weight and Growth Rates when the selections are done.
Please note that both breeds come with the stamp of approval.
AmBreed have progeny tested polled Hereford sires with the help of the NZHA for the past few years and the results have been excellent, backing up the EBV’s of these top sires.
AmBreed can now confidently use these proven sires in the Dairy Beef programme.
