The Deane family from Tahuna are no strangers to success in the show ring but a recent trip to the Waikato A & P Show was satisfying none the less.

Te Hau Sahara Flame represented the well-known stud in the Junior Calf section of the NZHFA North Island Championships at Claudlands. Flame not only won North Island Champion for her section, but she went on to win the All-Breeds Junior Calf Championship as well.

Flame has a pedigree deep in CRV Ambreed breeding, from her sire HSS Talent Sahara all the way back to the legendary Woodbine Valiant Elmer.

The stud is a family affair.  Geoff and Linda along with daughter Francesca and her partner Tom, are all doing their part in developing strong cow families within the herd. The Deane family have a long history with CRV Ambreed, “We started using Ambreed product at least 30 years ago,” says Linda.

“Some overseas genetics are sourced from other companies but the resulting offspring are almost always mated back to CRV sires to keep a balance in the breeding programme.”

CRV Ambreed congratulates the Deane’s for their achievements and is proud to have supplied the genetics instrumental in Flame’s success.

“It is always a pleasure to visit a client where the enjoyment and passion for what they do is so much to the fore,” says CRV Consultant Butch Coombe.

CRV Ambreed looks forward to further success in the show ring for animals bearing the Te Hau prefix.
